Abruzzo is one of Italy's last unspoiled regions. Abruzzo features ski resorts, mountains, long stretches of sandy beaches and yet all within a few hours of the capital city of Rome. The region is host to stunning national parks and some of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe.

CHIETI

The province of Chieti is also called Teatine province, from the ancient name of the city (Teate); it borders on the province of Pescara (north-west), L'Aquila and Molise (south-west) and the Adriatic sea (north-east).The province also includes a large part of the Majella massif (2.793 m), the second highest mountain in the Apennine mountains.

Why the Chieti province ?

We are a little biased on this subject after all we all choose to live here.
We are confident that when you arrive in the Chieti province you will see for yourself how incredible it is. The whole of Abruzzo is beautiful but Chieti for us is a little special.

The coast offers the same modern facilities as the other areas but we enjoy breaks in the coastline where nature reserves and fabulous coves can be found. The road network in our province is fantastic allowing easy access to the medieval villages that are scattered everywhere and with attractions such as the Maiella national park, ski resorts and 2 beautiful lakes (1 of which is one of Abruzzo’s number 1 attractions, lake Bomba) you will always find many things to do and see no matter what time of year you arrive.
For your information every photograph on the website is taken from the Chieti province but as you know there is nothing like visiting a place to really get the feel for it, with this in mind we will look forward to welcoming you to this outstanding area.
